Parc régional de l'Île-Lebel
Pack your picnic basket before heading out to your first activity of the weekend: a walk in the Parc régional de l’Île-Lebel park. Here, you'll enjoy 3 kilometres of rock dust trails in the heart of Repentigny. Before you start your walk, unwind with a delicious picnic lunch in the park. Afterwards, you'll have the whole afternoon to enjoy the trail, the fitness area and even the pétanque (a bowls game from the south of France) field if you feel like it.

Bistro Le Coup Monté
For dinner, head to Le Coup Monté bistro, located just minutes from the Parc régional de l’Île-Lebel park. A decadent menu awaits, including tuna tataki, buffalo frog legs, duck breast, striploin steak and many other equally mouth-watering dishes. You're welcome to bring your own wine to pair with your meal.

LA MAISON FAUST (1860)
After this hearty dinner, make your way to Trois-Rivières to reach your accommodation at Maison Faust. Built in 1860, this house will surely charm you with its history. With 2 bedrooms and 2 beds, you can share this space as a couple or with another guest. In the morning, take a walk and sip your coffee while admiring the stunning view of the St. Lawrence River.

SCIRBI - Société de Conservation, d'Interprétation et de Recherche de Berthier et ses Îles
After a delicious local breakfast, take one last look at the magnificent ancestral Maison Faust before heading off to your main activity of the day. The trails await you at the Berthier Islands Conservation, Interpretation and Research Society (SCIRBI). A total of 9.7 kilometres of hiking trails are open year-round for you to explore the wetlands surrounding Lake Saint-Pierre. You'll cross aquatic meadows, marshes, wet meadows and swamps. Not only can you enjoy the trails, but you can also put your bird-watching skills to the test. Over 245 species of birds have been observed here over the years. And that’s not to mention the reptiles, amphibians and mammals you might spot during your walk.

Brasserie Locomotiv
End your little escapade at the Brasserie Locomotiv microbrewery and restaurant in Berthierville. No matter your preferred flavour profile, you'll be able to sample one (or more) of the delicious local beers: Belgian white, haskap gose, ginger pilsner, rum and coconut imperial stout, and more. Order by the glass or try the tasting menu. To satisfy your appetite after the long walk through the SCIRBI trails, enjoy one of the comforting dishes available on site: poutine, salad, burger, nachos and much more!
